At ProteoSense, our aspiration is to help make foodborne illness a thing of the past.
Our focus is on prevention. We want to help our customers quickly identify contaminants throughout the supply chain, so that they can meet the ever-increasing test demands from their buyers—industry giants such as Kroger, Wal-Mart and McDonald’s—and the formidable requirements of the Food Safety Modernization Act. We want to help the entire food supply chain become safer and more successful, rather than see yet another company scramble to respond after a contamination problem has already occurred.
That’s why, since our founding in 2013, we have worked to design and build our patent-pending RapidScan™ platform, which will give food suppliers the capability to accurately detect foodborne pathogens immediately.
To that end, ProteoSense is presently engaged in product testing and validation with strategic partners in the food industry, with the goal of getting our solution into our customers’ hands in Q3/Q4 of 2018.
With ProteoSense, the process of elimination is much quicker than in a lab. That means that uncontaminated food doesn’t have to sit around for days waiting for test results. There’s no supply chain delay.
